What's Bugging You? Maybe I Can Help.
I like to think 2023 me is pretty adaptable.
2013 me? Less so.
Over the past ten years, kids, COVID and self-employment have taught me a thing or two about changing a plan and going with the flow.
(Exhibit A: This email was supposed to go out last week on Friday morning. As you can see, it did not. Oh well.)
Lately, I’ve been talking with lots of people who own businesses, and some who don’t, about making money plans for 2024.
Most people resist the idea of planning or projecting what they think is going to happen, because there’s basically zero chance things actually go that way.
That’s ok. The important thing to remember is that things will go SOME way. And wouldn’t you rather know if SOME way is what you were expecting?
Plan, measure, compare, adapt.
2013 me was just starting to blend accounting and finance skills and figuring out that process.
2023 me has gathered, created and adapted tools to help hundreds of business owners understand what’s happening with their money.
But I know there’s room for even more adaptability!
So, I’d really love to hear your ideas about new ways to deliver those tools in 2024.
✨Nagging question you just can’t get the answer to? Maybe it’s a one-time project.
✨Bunch of back-of-the-envelope calculations you need to consolidate? Maybe it’s a template or a custom model.
✨Need to devote a day to work through some stuff? Maybe it’s a one-on-one bootcamp or VIP day.
✨Know your personal spending is slightly/extremely out of control? Maybe it’s personal finance coaching.
If any of these sound good to you, or if it’s sparked an idea about something else, I’d love to chat with you about it. (As long as it’s not about taxes. I’m never going to prepare taxes.)
Pick a time for a quick conversation here.
