Happy Quitters Day
Apparently, the second Friday in January is known as National Quitters Day, because it’s the day most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions.
Well, I think today is a great day to jumpstart something new instead!
So here’s a question for my business owners:
Do your goals for 2025 include improving your financial situation?
I ask because while it’s true that January is an arbitrary time to ditch some old habits or start new ones..
For people with solo or small businesses, January is THE PERFECT TIME to tackle finances.
It’s the perfect time because you get to start over with a clean slate.
No matter how much of a mess 2024 was, you can start 2025 off right so you don’t have to clean up or play catch up later in the year.
Maybe you’re experiencing one of these extremely common struggles:
- The strategy of “Wing it and hope things work out” was ok for awhile… but now you’re past the startup phase and ready to make financial management a priority, and you don’t know where to start; or
- You’re stuck on the “feast or famine” money rollercoaster… where you feel really good about money one day, and really stressed the next, and nothing you’ve tried has worked to break the cycle; or
- Business is going well enough that money is always there, so you don’t pay close attention to your income or expenses… but you constantly worry about what you’re missing, and wish you felt secure and confident in your financial situation.
If any of these sound familiar, and you know 2025 is the year to turn things around, I’d love to chat with you about how to make that happen.
I have a few openings on my calendar in January for free calls where I help business owners get crystal clear on your goals, identify the roadblocks that are keeping you stuck, and make an action plan to move forward fast.
I love these conversations!
But let’s be honest here… I’m guessing you’d rather NOT have this talk.
Because for most people, money is a subject that’s personal, emotional, and stressful… and so it feels easier to avoid money conversations.
But if you’ve been feeling stuck and wondering how to get moving in the right direction,
And you’re also feeling a little bit brave and ready for change in the new year,
I’m offering this call as a no-cost, no-pressure* step one to jumpstart your progress.
Hit reply and let me know if you’d like to find a time to talk.
Take care,
Quinn
